got a 69’ RR that I need to put my hood to Cowel seal on. It didn’t have one when I bought it. I Got the new, correct seal from YearOne with the 6 clips.

I know where the clips go into the hood and I know how the seal fits into the hood... but I’m not sure how the clips fit into the seal. there are no punched holes for the clips to stick into the seal.

Do the pointy ends of the clips just stab into the seal? Then try to bend them over??

Need help please!

I looked at mine (took pics) might have to see what you have. The pictures of mine show 2 small holes on the outside with the clip on the inside. Couldn’t see how they attached. I’m certain someone on the forum will answer your question.

Thank you neighbor! I’m assuming you just put the clips in place... then pierce the clips into the seal. I just want to make sure.

Correct. Mine didn't have it when I bought it. I just used an awl to punch a starter hole as I worked it from one end to the other. Then just press the retainer in to the hole.
