How does the rear window inside trim come off?

It didn't seem to want to come off and it's fairly stiff.
Pull and pry?
Does it have "teeth"?
I'm going to remove the rear glass too anyway.
So tell me if I need to take that out first.
Rope saw?

A lot of time if the window has been removed previously, they get butyl on the trim and makes it hard to pull off. A heat gun helps if that is the case.

Got the trim off.
I guess I'm Not going to get the teeth things off to clean them up.
I thought these might turn to remove.
But seem to have ears on the backside that may have been crimped in place.
Any ideas?

You can buy those clip's for the saw tooth bracket's. Screw driver to open them up. But they brake so have to buy new one's. Said to say they are not cheap and better buy more than you need. Ask me why they brake putting them in and are not like original. Think I got mine from part's mix. Good luck with the build.

Ah Ha.
Spread them.
I can see they may not be reusable .
But my "Gripoids" are rusty and I'm setup to put this kind of thing in Evaporust.
(Tremors is on Netflix)
I can see they may crack trying to reuse them.

Those bracket's that hold the inner upper head liner trim where a pain. The clip's keep braking. So had to use tri spread rivet's. If you are replacing those up front then forget the clip's. Not worth paying the money for them.

Stupid question time.
Trying to remove back glass reveal trim.
Did the factory snap this stuff in place with the sealant sticking to it on these cars?
It's oozing out.
The is going to be a real PITA!!!
And I thought putting a windshield in a 67 Charger was bad.
I need coffee.20211219_153501.jpg20211219_153453.jpg

Yes.
I know "never say never", " 50 years old no telling what someone did", "secret VIN stampings suppose to be....", etc.
But this stripped down car must have been assembled by the Friday midnight shift staffed by new hires with no parts.

And that was an easy piece.
So I'm going to fight this all the way around???
Has anyone posted the clip locations?
I'm going to need that for putting it back together after metal replacement. 20211219_155542.jpg

OK.
That's halfway.
Think I'll finish later.
I've found making my own clip tool works best.
That store bought thong is useless.
But seriously. They just slap the trim on the sealant?

The easy way out for them. At bottom one in corner about 1 inch. Then after curve you get one. Two at center about 3 inches apart. The a few at random in the rest of the area. Think I used more than it called for. Three down the side. Think someone has a diagram on here. Direct connect think showed the application. Here is some one of my car and another car.
