hi folks,

New here from Alberta, long time b body fan (grandad had a 69 road runner and dad had a 67 coronet) I only owned chevelle’s up until a week ago. Found my self a dream car (70 V code) for a reasonable price so I jumped on it. Browsed through the threads the last few days and it’s nice to be around like minded individuals.

I like the great V code mopars, next thing to a Hemi.but back in the days the big blocks and 4 speeds, the insurance cost more than the car. My first new car that i ordered was a red road runner 4 speed, 383, but wanted the Hemi. Enjoy the Hemi and v cars the insurance should be the same as a 4 banger

Thanks guys, I never thought I’d like the in violet, but it suits it and makes it easy to tell the wife this one is hers and I still need one haha. Halftrack it’s hard to go wrong with 300$ for the year, the insurance is almost laughable. Put a lot of time in this week, I should of done before pics but did some cuttin and welding to fix the previous guys scab job. Seam sealed and undercoated, she’s looking good and ready for pavement

Welcome from Southern Indiana. Can't wait to see some pictures out in the bright sun light. Purple is one of those hi impact colors that need full sun to make it pop.
