After a five (5) year (!) wait IT’S HERE!:thankyou:

Passon shipped me my new 5 gear. Yee hah!

Worth the wait. May have it in this weekend if other chores get done. :steering:

Signed up at NATS in ‘13. Quikbird checked in ‘14 and I think we were 143 and 144 on the list then.

It’s my understanding that Passon had some real problems with quality from suppliers. With their reputation the units wern’t going out without being right.

I got a call last month . They got a credit card number and it’s here. Pics will be coming when I get it to shoppe and uncrated!:beep::thumbsup::thumbsup:

We were originally mid 300's on the list. Still deciding on whether to send check for mine. Need to decide quick.

Yep dancing in the street's for sure. Like Christmas. Well be glad to see how it look's. Also want to know do you have console or floor board shifter. Russ.

I talked to Jamie at the Nats before when I got the four speed for my other car, and he was telling me about that he'd rather delay a product if there was any quality issue. He won't sell something with his name on it if it's not right.

If I don’t break car at the Nats, a roadtrip to Woodward Dream Cruise the next week may be required.

The last three years I used that week to recover from Tri 5 Nats with my ‘55.

It’s sold, now I can get back to MOPAR fun big time. I can’t wait to see how mellow it’ll be on roadtrips!

The 5 gear Tremec in the ‘55 made it tolerable. It was mandatory in it. Pretty rough!:soapbox::steering:

I have had my Passon a855 installed since September of 2017. It's in my 70 V-Code Roadrunner (71 440+6) and replaced the 18 spline a833. A little noisy in the lower gears, but that will quiet down over time and even if it doesn't, that doesn't bother me at all. OUTSTANDING build quality and design, and with a 700 ft lbs continuous torque rating, I am very happy. I have around 600 miles on it. I can't think of any changes that a console shifted car would have to make. I installed 4.10 ring and pinion gears in place of the stock 3.54s and am turning 700 less RPMs in 5th with the 4.10s than I did in 4th with the 3.54s. 1,200 less when the 3.54s were still in.

Sounds really good! And it looks like to be a really good product! I was thinking on a five speed from them, but if you are saying that there is a long five years wait... But I guess it is worth it.
And yes thanks for the numbers
