Since I first posted on here I bought a 69 Roadrunner that needs restored. It is b5 blue, black interior and bucket seats. I found it on Ebay and like most cars on Ebay was a little overstated! However it wasn't bad. It has an 440-6 pack in it with an 727. I bought a complete 70 4-speed parts car so I can change it over. The body is really nice other then the 1/4 panels. All floors are solid! The 440was rebuilt and never fired and also the 727. I hooked up everything and filled all fluids and fired it up for the first time since it was rebuilt in 1994. I must have stuck rings as it has extreme blow by. I call a friend of mine the rebuilds motors and he said that's common on a rebuilt motor that has sat that long without being fired up. He told me to put pb blaster in each cylinder and let it soak. I haven't done that yet. Since I have to pull the motor I was thinking about just re ringing it I am buying parts of it to restore it. I have new AMD 1/4's and several other parts. When it gets a little nicer out I will post pictures of it. Have a Happy New Year! Dave

Congratulations on joining the '69 RR club! Post some pics of your car in its current state. It will be good to see the progress over time.

BTW is your '69 an A12 or a A12 clone?
