383, 4 speed, 3.23 rear end, Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold with a Slightly leaned out Edelbrock 750, bringing it closer to a 650 (it was running too rich) and a #21-223-4 Comp cam.
I am at 10 BTDC (factory spec), but considering going up to 12 BTDC. Edelbrock tech told me to go 12-14.

Just curious as to what ignition timing you guys are running?

Disregard. After a little investigation and study, I realize that total timing is more important than initial timing so I'll adjust the total timing to 35 deg and let the initial fall where it may.

Initial timing set around where you are and move it around till you find the sweet spot where it doesn't fight the starter

Pretty magical stuff when you can reduce the CFM rating on a carb by leaning out the AF mixture. My hat's off to you... :basketcase:
