Instrument bezels.

My '74 RR came with an incomplete wiring and instrument upgrade that doesn't impress me so I've decided to remove it and replace the original instrument cluster. I have the old cluster but the bezel was hacked up where the radio sits. I found another on Flea Bay but the radio location only has one hole instead of the "standard" two holes I've seen in other cars. It has everything my original cluster has except the speedometer is a 150 model while my original is a 120mph model. Anybody know what the eBay bezel may have came out of?

If it is the one in the pic that one has also been cut open for some aftermarket stereo. It should look like this one -

That's the bezel I was referring to and after looking at it closely I think you're right. Since I've already bought it I might have to find a way to fix the "modified" slot. I's better than the one I have on my original instruments but finding that piece is going to be difficult.

I definitely would have said thank you and sent some cash along with the thank you. All I needed was the bezel since the original instrument cluster is OK.

The cost for the shipping was right there on the shipping label.
You think he sent me back my $45.00, nope. I was not raised that way. If I run across another one I’ll let you know. I like your car. I had two 73s one B5 blue and the other was Red.

Maybe the person you sent it to might have a little remorse if whoever it is reads this. $45 bucks isn't that much after looking at some of the prices on the internet.

A thank you would have been fine. I didn’t ask for the shipping cost. Just saying. He offered to pay for the bezel in the beginning but I was giving it to him so I didn’t want any money. A thank you goes a long ways.
