I need to sell a couple cars to get the rest of the stuff I want/need for my 69 RR. I have a bit of a clue of what they are worth but if it is appropriate I'd like to ask you guys.

Ok First one is the
1968 Dart 2dr Post Car
What i know
273 Headers Holley - runs great
Auto trans
8 ¾ with sure grip (not sure about ratio)
Body in great shape - White paint was blue (I can see it with some paint chipping in hinge area). There is a very little bit of easily fixed surface rust (2" diameter) that needs to be scraped off and touched up in one or two places.
Interior is in really good shape. Has new cover for front seat to complete the interior. Its blue and white
All the lights, blinkers, horn, gauges, function
Disc brakes up front with 5x4.5 bolt pattern
Has American racing (centerline look) rims with new tires.
Has front sway and other suspension upgrades
The car sits really low
has fender tag and good title. Was on the road last year!

The Second car

The second car is a 1968 Satellite
No engine or trans
8 ¾ rear
Body and frame are in great shape - has a little filler in the lower quarter behind the wheel (the magnet held but didn't have the grip it had on all other parts of the car)
Interior is very nice
All the glass is good

My current 69 RR project that needed a ton more work cost me $5100 back in '05. I couldn't find anything under $10K that wasn't a huge project.
Here's what my RR looked like when I bought it for $5100 Granted it was a desirable model, but the Dart at least is a couple grand away from being sweet.

Maybe it's from being in an area where the average home value is around $500k and the avg. median income is over $100k ? I know if I went out to my friend's town in Iowa I could get better deals on cars for sure. Living here is a huge benefit for my business but the COL is really high.

AZ Desert,
That's about the asking price around here, what they sell for I don't know.

that Satellite looks like a great project. Put in a drive line and be good to go for a while.

Here in So Cal the Dart would bring $5000 easy!
The 68 Satty is in the $3k-$4k range. It would be an awesome bracket car project.

I'd hang 10k on the Dart easy...
Back when I tried to sell my '71 Charger I asked 8k the first time and only got 2-3 calls. It didn't sell. Some months later I put it up for 10K and had all kiinds of interest. Sold it after 3 days. As weird as it seems sometimes you have to ask more or else people ask themselves "hmmm... wonder what's wrong with that car?" Just sayin'. That little Dart looks mighty sweet.

mcmopar - I just took your advice....why not at least try it. You can always go down but you can"t usually go up.

Where was "here"? I didn't see it.
Many car prices are sort of like politics. It's all local.

But 5k for each car is what might ask in my area.
Without seeing them that is.
The Dart isn't original with disk up front and other things.
The Satty looks nice but, it's a Satty.
"Your results may vary".

I had one bite, called him up and of course he wanted to talk about all the cars he currently had. Real nice kid but in the end he didn't want a post car. I thought the pics might filter these but what the heck. I don't mind talking cars for little bit so no harm.
