It's about time

You must be happy to finally see the new metal going on Dave! Love the way rivets are used as the easy way out to fix body work instead of doing it the right way. In fact those rivets remind me Dave, I got to Ol' Rivets today, it's really startin' to look forgotten sitting out there. Ya know what I mean?!
 
yeah I do Steve. A lot of the Museums just don't have the $$ for upkeep. But what burns me is a one of one item like this sitting outside year after year.
and I gotta get over there next year.
 
well the piece that Chris sent me, and the rear shock crossmember I changed out were both off blue cars. so I finally found a use for blue cars...... :devil:

thisis his car he redid a few years ago. 383 auto console. got to drive it today. sweet!

the four door is one of his sons. bought from the original owner, 65,000 miles, original paint, ac wiorks. the lady they got it from wouldn't even let her husband drive it.
