Hello every one. It is sure fun to drive the runner and go to car show's. Have a nice trophy collection going. Just finished the air grabber install. Really like the way it looks. Should add some extra points when at the car show. I hope so. It beats working on it and being able to just enjoy the fruits of your labor. Have to act like a hard dog when out so people won't beat the hell out of it with there truck and car doors. One car pulled up and all the doors flew open and kids jumped out with no regards to other vehicle around. Hope every one is enjoying there cars and getting to the car shows. Hope you all win and fill up your trophy case. All so enjoy talking to other restored cars and swapping lies.lol.

My trophy’s include long black lines on the road, and the smell of 110 racing fuel. I don’t go to shows unless it’s for a worthy cause, but I like to go to cruise-ins, just for the fun of it. I don’t wash my car, it kind of adds to the survivor look. Truth is, I just like to drive it, beat in it, and I really love the mechanical mayhem of a 4 speed and manual steering and brakes. I’ve always liked machinery, just something about a combination of parts put together to do a job. I hear a lot of people tell me not to touch a thing, they’re only original once. I wish it didn’t have rust, but I’m done doing restorations, and am rather fond of preservations, so I have no plans to do more to the car. Unless I come across a lot of money, at which time I would seek out “Crafty B” , or Mefford to repair the rust and just leave as much of the original paint as possible.

I love playing with cars, and opening the secrets of a car that’s lived a long life. It’s just in my nature

Beautiful car. I love the 70, when I was a kid my dad brought home his new car, and we were instantly hooked. Everybody in our neighborhood came over to see it, it was a one of a kind beast. There was just something magical about that car. It ran a best of 12:30 @109 right off the truck. Beauty and a Beast!

Is your car a B7 in color?
I think I asked you before about the interior. I’m putting the new interior in mine and I’m not sure I have the right color of carpet. Some say dark blue and some say light blue.
The carpet was removed when I used to drink a lot of beer. Now I no longer drink, I can’t remember. lol
