I rarely take my RR out in the rain, but being in Central Florida, I've been caught in a few unsuspecting downpours :cold:

Today was no exception as we're currently getting hammered :disgust:

Anyways, I noticed that I've got a small leak coming from the top left of the windshield (drips down on my left leg).

I figured I could pull the chrome and fill any gap with silicone or sumthin, but that's when I realized it has a large form fitted rubber seal, so now I'm looking into just having it replaced :apathy:

Is OEM the only way to go on this or will an aftermarket seal suffice?

My local glass guy says he can get a new seal (not sure what brand) for $80 bucks and R&R the glass for another $50, which seems fair, but my main concern is that I stop the leak before any damage is done :shower:

unless the seal is a rock hard 40 year old original, could your glass guy pull the windshield and seal it?
