I need to polish up my clear lens that covers the speedometer and all the gauges.

It has afew surface scratches in it nothing deep at all.

What's the best way to go about getting it in better shape?

Thanks,
Bill

Most any of the lens polishes will work, just go to the car care isle of your favorite parts store

Steve,

Can that T-cut be bought here in the states?

I have a bottle of the mequires clear lens scratch remover but was a little scared to try it even thought it's for a green runner :lmao:

Bob,

I think it's in a grey/blue bottle.

Will have to get out into the shop and see.

Thanks,
Bill

Tooth polish here. Work it with your finger. Try some other plastic to get the hang of it. Push too hard you scratch it.

But then hey......I have a :leg: car.

Like I said before.

The restoration process was hunting, negotiating and cleaning up old parts. It was like putting a big model together.

Dang it if it was not true though that I'd strip off some paint layers off the parts and there was the base color------GREEN!

I think it statistically true then in my sample they apparently made good parts cars.
