Hi all, I posed this on FBBO as well.

My name is Austin. I am a 23 year old mopar addict. The reason I am into mopar is the stories my dad told me when I was growing up about his 69 roadrunner. Anyway, I would like to either find his car (doubtful) or find one exactly like it. My goal is to find a car, restore it if need be and surprise him with it!

Of course it is the most odd color combo. Here is the broad configuration:

1969 Road Runner
383
4 speed
L1 Sand pebble beige with a saddle brown vinyl roof
Two tone brown interior with black carpet

Last seen in 1975 in North West Iowa.

Has anyone seen a comparable car to this?

That's a pretty unique color combo.
I don't know that I've seen a L1 car in person.
Hopefully it made it through the 70s and 80s and you can find it.

Keep searching the web. We are fortunate to live in a day and age where you can find just about anything online.
I would suggust finding a pic on google images of a similar optioned car, then posting it on Moparts and Mopar and Road Runner dedicated Facebook pages.

Good luck!

A guy here in socal just restored a very derelict sand pebble car.
It was the only one I have ever seen.
I am pretty sure he got it in a magazine.
When I see him again at a local show I will try to get more info.

I have received a picture from the previous owner and in the process of getting the VIN. As far as I know now, it was last sold in the Pipestone Minnesota are in 1980 or 1981.

Any more info on tracking the RR? I reached out to a car club in Pipestone to see if anyone remembers the car. They're circulating the images.
