Well I tried keeping an inventory of all my parts as they moved from blasting to the different body shops but it seems I lost something. I can't look for one if I don't know the name. I call it a gravel pan it bolts to the front bumper and goes back towards the radiator support between the bumper brackets? Oh will a 68 dodge Coronet fit?

Plymouths and Coronets are definitley different. Been there...done that.
I've always called it a bumper filler. It can make a big difference in how hot the car runs. Without it the hot air circulates around the bottom of the radiator and core support and right back through. I've seen a lot of guys struggle with their cars running hot and they overlook one of four things usually. No fan shroud...bad fan clutch...no bumper to core support filler...lower hose collapsing. They will change the thermostat and water pump over and over and never fix the problem.

That part is long awol from my car, and I hear that is a common thing to have missing from cars. And thanks Hotrod, I had never heard that that piece plays a part in how the cooling system works.

Hot rod is correct, the air goes through the grill and out the bottom without it

Well, even though the water pump I put in has greatly improved my problem, this may be the last piece of the puzzle, so I just ordered one from AMD. So the next question is, Bob, what color are you painting yours? Black or body color.

The one in the pic is my lost one, it appears as if it was a dark prime or black. I'm going with semi flat black.

I got my piece from AMD today and it looks good. I haven't seen any cars in my area with one still in it, so, which way does it go in the car? Does the stamped side go up or down?

My pic on the first page should clear it up  I believe the center grill support will get in the way if you put it in backwards. The bolts go in from the bottom nuts on top and should be black phosphate if you want to go that far :D

Bob is correct about the grill support preventing you from installing it upside down. The one that came with Bambi was off of the car - because the front bumper is a little out of whack preventing it from being easily installed. And the top of mine is painted blue...???

Thanks guys. So, Ray, you're suggesting that it may be body color?

All the ones I ever saw were black... except I have seen replacements that were dark gray.

I have one that's gray that came off a Q5 GTX that had been hit and repaired at one time in its life.

I'm probably going to have mine powder coated.
