Lower dash pad painted.

I was surprised how fast the paint dry's. Used two coats. A little heavy on the second coat. Herb's dash paint.

Finish looks a little dull (flat). Might just be the picture. Did you shake up the can very, very good? A lot of times the flattening agent will separate from the paint and will come out first? I have had the best results by heating the can in hot tap water for about 10 minutes and then shaking vigorously for about 2-3 minutes. The fast drying time is also a clue that the paint is not mixed good.

Yes shook the can for 3 minutes. It is 86 degree's here. Should it have more sheen to it. It dose look a little flat but better than the blue it was. LOL. The grain show well and the stich out line on it. It says not to apply to much it will loose the grain look.

The finish came out nice and smooth, but agree it should have a little more sheen than it does. The above came out well.

100% droptop. Will just leave it alone and go with it. It don't look bad. Thanks for the info and help.

100%. LOL. I forgot you are in Florida. I would say that is contributing to the dull look. Here is my pad with Herb’s interior paint in red.
