Does anybody know what the widest size magnum 500 rims would be that i could put on the back of my 69 road runner?

I have a set of 15"x10" steelies that I have some drag slicks on that fit pretty good.
Not sure what the back spacing is on them though.

i probably would need to know the back spacing as well. i talked to the tec support from summit racing and he did not know told me to do a bunch of measuring was hoping someone here would know

I had 15x8s on mine, don't remember the back space, and had 2756015s on them. I have 15x8 Cragars, with...2 1/2" backspace IIRC.

From what I've seen, 10inches is about biggest width without starting to need to move leaf springs etc. I think the backspace on those is about 4-4.5 inches

I've got 15"x8" Magnums on the rear of mine with 4.5" backspace mounting 275-60R/15 BFG tires. The fit is perfect.

thanks for the advice everybody i guess a set of 14x10 magnums would be the widest that would fit on back with 4.5 backspacing is it

I ran 14X10s on my '68 Charger, with G50s, but the wheel opening is bigger.

Ps: measure the rear axle to see if it is centered or off to one side. Could affect your clearances to fender.

oil pressure

i have a 73 440 in my 69 road runner and when its cold the oil pressure is about 60 but after about 20 mins of driving when i come to stop it drops to about 15 does anybody know if this is normal?

I'd say it's just normal wear. I've always been told, that as long as you have some oil pressure, all is well.I'd have to get my book out, but IIRC, that sounds about the normal operating range.
