Well the S&P 500 and the nasdaq 100 both broke through support and it appears its headed lower for awhile. Good thing I shorted them :D

Everyone is afraid that the market has gottten ahead of the economy's true rate of recovery...stocks will be hard-pressed to go higher than they have been for the last three months until there is some verifiable economic recovery...it's a mess...but don't worry, we're just one more Obama spending, er, I mean "stimulus" bill away from freakin' Utopia...

Me too... I even upped what I dump in my 401K

Thats what I have to keep telling my wife with her 403b, she says look how low it is and I say buy!

I had built up a pretty good 401K with the previous owners of the company I work for. After they sold out, instead of moving that to the new owners 401K, I put it somewhere else. Like everyone else it hasn't faired too well but I'm going to ride it out. It did gain back some of what was lost, but if I move it now I'll loose all of that amount. It's not like I'm going to need that money tomorrow, so I hope that in time it will go back up again. I hope.

up here in the frozen north our market is commodity driven. price of oil is a big factor but it (the market) has lost 500-600 points the last few weeks after a somewhat good recovery. Now the "experts" say the resession may last longer than they thought. You think??? I like everyone else have lost some on paper. Being retired I worry a bit more. I work a bit on the side and government pensions are good here. I can still spend a bit on my car, pay the bills and put my feet on the floor each morning...........
