I could not make it to Carlisle which is 8 hours from me this year but it look's like I may be going to the nat's which is 12 hours from here. Go figure. Anyone else going this year ?

Dusters are the featured cars this year so I really wanted to go...but I don't see it happening now. Traveling for business that same week. Just can't pull the trigger...pretty tired of aluminum tubes with wings at this point...

Not me. I did go last year and it's about 10 1/2 hr trip. And for several reasons, I didn't find it to be as good a show as Carlisle is, maybe it's because I'm spoiled having gone there for about 8 years now and I just think it's a much better show. That's not to say I won't make the trip to the Nats again but it won't be on an every year basis.

Haven't been to the Mopar Nats since they were in Indy.

Don't even have a thought about going to it.

Not my idea of a good show when you have porta-potty's overflowing and dodging golf carts,4 wheelers while trying to look for parts cramped together.

Now Carlisle I have not missed but one show and that's when I had surgery and couldn't make it.

If it was not for the racers I think that the nats would go down hill fast?

While I dislike the Nat's, I'll be there on Saturday for sure, and maybe Friday as well. I hate not going, since it's only 1.5 hrs away. Carlisle sure has me spoiled though. Between the two, there's no comparison, IMO anyways.
