Yes there was a lot of nice cars there at the show. As you may have figure out I love the "B" bodies and most of my photo's are of the ones that caught my eye.

I did not go up on Saturday, weather was bad. However, Sunday had good weather and the turn out seemed really good. I would say there was about 150 to 200 cars.

121 cars Sat. with all the rain. Not a great turn out. I don't know how many were there Sunday but there were more than on Sat. I believe. I judged 3 classes Sunday - 62-67 B-Body Stock and Modified and 68-70 B-Body Stock. Let me tell you - the 68-70 class was UNREAL! The green '70 Charger in the pics above did not place in the top 3 and it was a beautiful car! There were 13 cars in the class and one guy with a red '70 Charger R/T would have won 1st place but lost 5 points for not having a fire extinguisher! I told him to bring one next time! IIRC the Blue Charger shown in the 1st group of photos won the class. It was superb.
Thanks for the kind words. My old rag finished out of the top 3 in 68-70 B-Body Modified - but then again it always does. Its a good looking driver but can't compete against the cars at the show. I like to go and support the show and hang out and kibitz with all the folks up there. It's good to go and see how everyone is doing, enjoy the great weather (normally - Sunday was fantastic), kick back and just relax. Plus, I get to drive the old bird up to Ocala from Orlando. My boss Don came up on Sat. in his '72 Dart Swinger (Plum Crazy - white interior) and Kent in his '70 Dart (B5 Blue, 225 /6 w/2 1 bbl. carbs). We had a nice little mini-caravan going up the Florida Turnpike to I-75 in the heavy rains that swept through on Sat. morning.
All in all it was a great time and as always I'm already looking forward to next year's show!
