Hello,

I am looking for shops where I can buy all kind of things in a high quality for my "new" Road Runner.
Where do you buy spare parts for your Runners?

It depends on what parts you are looking for. There are a lot of online vendors that sell speed and reproduction parts. One of my favorites is Mancini Racing (http://www.manciniracing.com) but there are many, many others. Let us know what you are looking for and I'm sure we can all recommend some good vendors :thumbsup:
 
I am specially looking for NOS parts and high quality reproduction parts, also high quaility chrom parts.
For example both chromframes of the small triangle windows.
Years ago I bought new rear dhrommirrors for a 71 Jaguar XJ6 in England. The chrommirrors looks at the beginning perfect,
but after half a year the mirrors looked like a very used 40 year old part with many picels in the chrom, it was much more then patina.
Every penny was to much for this spare part.
Now I have nothing else special, it is just for in case if I need something that I know where to go/look.
 
I've had very good experience with Bill Rolick. http://www.billrolikenterprises.com/ His stuff always seems to be first class.

While I haven't had any personal dealings with them, I've always heard good things about Bill Allphin http://amhightechauto.com/

Concerning the chrome around your vent windows, that's something that nobody to my knowledge reproduces. Best bet is to find a really good chrome shop that does those on a regular basis. Expect to pay some serious $$ for that service.
 
I've had great luck with the following companies in my restoration (my car is pretty much brand new)...

-Roseville Moparts (Michigan): They have a ton of NOS and aftermarket parts. I live right by there fortunately. It's in the back part of a Dodge dealership, so they're always open!

-Mancini's (Michigan): I also live near this place as well. They're helpful and have everything, but they're expensive.

-Legendary (interior):I bought my seat covers and foam from them.

-A Deals (Ebay): I bought most of my replacement (AMD) metal from these guys. I think I purchased just about every available metal replacement parts for a 69 RR. I also bought my carpet, gas tank and sending unit, windshield, and a ton of other stuff from these guys. Call them, don't order online. They're my favorite vendor.

-Inline Tube (Michigan): I bought all new stainless pre-bent lines for my entire car (e-brake, brake, fuel) and also purchased their disc brake conversion for my front end.

-My bumpers were restored by a company called Hajjar Plating (Michigan).

-I also used another company for items and I can't for the life of me remember what the name of the company is. It was a two man operation in Minnesota I think. They were recommended on here, so I'm sure someone will recommend them.

As mentioned, Legendary is the place for interior stuff.

I hate to mention Year One, but their catalog is worth having, lots of great info and color pictures. Year One is the exclusive carrier of the best wiring harnesses out there. There are also some MOPAR salvage yards... I like Wildcat Auto Wrecking in Washington State, there are many others.

It was Mega Parts! They are awesome. I bought a ton of stuff from them.
