Motor rebuild kit

Any one have a good idea of where to order the motor rebuild kit from for the 383. Any thought would be appreciated.

Don’t think there is a rebuild kit per say. Strip it down and take block to machine shop and see what you start with

Thanks quikbird. I will take it apart my self and take all measurement's. Have rebuilt many a motor in shop. As long as it don't need to be bored or something that need's the machine shop. This motor has new freeze plug's in it and an indication that it was bored 30 over. It was stamped after the vin number on the block. It ran good but will look at it any way. Maybe just need to reseal it and gasket's. Oh well back to block sanding cough cough. All the dust is killing me.

Yep, mic all your journals and see if everything looks clean. If cylinders still have hone crosshatching may be able to just clean up and reinstall

all my gaskets from oriellys pretty reasonable

felpro makes a complete gasket set, but might want to upgrade head gasket. arp makes a kit with all the bolts needed to redo the engine as well.

Thanks guy's. No original specks on crank size. So guess will have to take here apart and Mic every thing then order. This not new too me but dose slow down the build some. Appreciate the help just looking forward instead of back ward's. Now back to body filler and sanding. Where the heck did I leave that dust mask ?????!!!!###@@%%%.
