Musclepalooza XII, Englishtown 2010, lots of RRs

He ran a Stage One Buick in Hot Rod a few months back. It ran a tenth faster. Go figure. Two very different schools of thought.

so i guess those redlines arent the real deal redlines.....a very special compounded....thin sidewalled make believe red line stock tires.....i heard stories that his 426 hemi is really a 572/604 hemi......anybody else hear that too :toetap: :toetap: :toetap:

or is it stock appearing

Those are the repop redlines found in the Coker catalogue. They run them low on air like 15 lbs. I have run small regular radial tires on my Swinger with similar results, plus the track is prepped real well. I was able to come within a few tenths on 245/60s than I did on my 28x11.5 E.T. Streets. His Hemi is a mega dollar big inch I think its around 500 inches. The motors that are used in fast racing are like NHRA stock eliminator motors, every detail is tended to as if it were the single most important thing in the world. He absolutely stomped on that Buick!

George, just on my car I started with BFG radials that are wider than my red lines, and between the two the red lines are like slicks compared to the BFGs. :yesnod:

Scroll down and you'll see Dudek's road runner on the front page. How does an E.T. of 10.18 and 137 mph grab you? That car is wicked fast. You can check out the details on Dave's car here:

If I had some cash I'd love to set up the road runner to run in the Pure Stock class. That would be a lot of fun.
