That's an interesting mix of cars there Steve. The English Escorts look much different then how they look here.

Steve you appear to be a Ford guy :basketcase: The Alfa looks kinda fun though :yesnod:

Was there a US equivalent to the Ford Cortina? It looks rather strange to me. How did/do you fit in those cars Steve, you strike me as a man of tall stature?

I fit into all the cars fine gunnar, only car i could idealy use some extra headroom is the RR

Yes I do like my Fords Bob :drive:

That '73 Ford looks kinda cool. My terrific neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gavin are from Ireland (he's 83).

I recall him telling me - in his wonderful heavy Irish accent - about the popularity of the 2.0 Fords in his homeland. He's been in the US for a loooong time, but used to visit Ireland often.

This was my "ride" when I lived in the UK. While it is a Rover the drive train was all Honda! In the two years I lived there the only problem I ever had with it was a cracked windsheld (windscreen)!

That's good to know Carl, you can interpret for us if Steve gets carried away
