My '74 has a non-working AM radio. Finally getting around to replacing it and the speakers. Thinking about one of those systems with the retro face-plate. I'd love to hear what everyone's got for a sound system. What do you have for radio/stereo? Speakers? Did you put any in the front? Amp (also, where)? Anything else?

Ordered mine form Classic industries. Got it with CD/AM/FM. They are good at getting you the right one for your car. I enjoy having mine just wish I had kick panel speakers instead of the single speaker in the dash. LOL. Have two rear deck speakers. A bit of an amplifier for those.

I have a `90`s Alpine cassette deck in my Barracuda with Alpine amp and two 6 x 9 speakers, sort of old school although not `70`s vintage, unfortunately the display is not working correctly anymore so it needs to be serviced. For my road runner I am going to install an under dash 8 track player (more for old school looks than actually using it) but not sure what I am going to do with the stock radio, would like to do one of new conversions but they are not cheap and I`ve heard sound quality isn`t great. Following to see others suggestions.

i also used https://retroradio.biz/ . just had mine upgraded for am/fm and bluetooth. never thought i would be able to do a hands free phone call but makes sense with a 4 speed. my original conversion from the same place had a 6 cd changer. but over the years technology is better and the whole system sounds better.

I used a company called retro sound for my Triumph GT6. Looks stock. I'm going to order a thumbwheel for the road runner from them. I believe they have the later B body style
