need help car wont start

ok dropped car off at storage, running fine guy goes to move car wont turn over

put in key and have power, lights on etc. turn key to start and everything goes out like it wants to try starting but nothing.

Jumped across relay and starter turns over, tried new relay but same result

Battery is new and starter is new.

Tried moving shifter lever around but still nothing, is it the neutral park safety switch?

Any ideas?
 
I would look at the bulk head connector and clean it up. sounds like a dirty connection :cents:
 
It shure aint the netral safety switch.
Otherwise the engine won't crank.
Rotor turning? (crank with distri cap of).
Fuel in carb ? Pump working?
 
well it was simple, that little old plug that goes to the 727 keeps coming off, something else to replace

Yeah, but sometimes they can be the hardest things to find! At least it doesn't sound like that happened here.
 
I dealt with this crap, from the sounds of it I had a similar problem for a while.

My small, simple nightmare was a precarious ground wire from the prong on the
relay to the 727. Drove me friggin' nuts for a while.
