Went to the Northeast Hemi Owners meet on Dover this weekend.

Lot's of traffic on the way down. Took a couple pics going through the Lehigh tunnel in PA.





Went to a local cruise night on Friday.

This old Dodge was really nice.



As was this Mercury. Can you say "Rebel without a Cause"?



Liked these Furys.



Spotted this 34 Plymouth. This car is from Syracuse originally and I built the 340 engine and trans for this car back in 1979 to pay for paint on my Roadrunner! The car was sold to a guy from Delaware.



This Barracuda was nice too.

Nice, thanks for sharing. I love how the Superbirds were on the bank. Look at the front tires, looks like they are turning the wheel right to stay on the bank.

We didn't go very fast, maybe 30 MPH if that. We were paced by a van with a tour guide in it.

What I noticed was you really had to hang on to the steering wheel and maybe even turn it right a bit to keep the car turning left... even on the straight.

What surprised me was that they only use the track for a couple NASCAR races a year. No other races. I expected that they would have some regular weekend racing.

just saw this. great pics Big. Dad and I were in that B-17 many times when it was at The Air Force Museum. Dover restored another B-17, Shoo Shoo Baby, an actual combat veteran of WWll, and they got this one in exchange.The Air Force flew Shoo Shoo Baby into the AF Museum. This is the Dover B-17 on her way to the new AF Museum back in the early '70s.
