just getting dash all hooked up and I cant get the dash lights ,or wipers working. I tried using the wire diagrams traced wires and have power. is there anything I should check other than ground before I start ripping it fully apart?

As you probably know the orange wire work all the dash lights and if that's hot and your grounds are good you might have a crack in the circuit board. The wipers I would guess is at the switch or bulk head connector.

Dash lights might be a dirty or bad rheostat on the dimmer switch. Try turning the switch up and down a few times before you do anything else. Check voltage going to the switch next.
