People always ask about posting pictures. There are two different ways.

The first way, the pictures need to be hosted somewhere. I suggest http://photobucket.com/ . Its a good easy site to work with and great way to share your pics.

This is the prefered method.

Looking at your photobucket "album", look at the listings under each pic. The one on the bottom that says "IMG Code" is the one to use. Click on that.. the photobucket software will show that its copied.

Here, I'm clicking on the picture of the boar's head.

Next, in the thread you wish to post this picture, right click on your mouse and select "paste". It will look something like this:

Code:
[ATTACH=full]13625[/ATTACH]

When you hit "submit" when you want to post the to the thread, the finished product will look like this:

Well... hopefully something cooler then a dead pig's head anyway.

One thing about photobucket, be sure to click on "account settings" and change your album to "private". That keeps your stuff private.

Re: Posting Pictures

The other method is a little different. The issues with this method is it does use space on the server and when the limits are reached, the older pics will be deleted.

Scroll down under the reply box and you'll see another box with "filename". Hit browse and that will let you look through your home computer. Click "open", then add any comments and the click "add the file". Directly underneath the reply box you'll see the filename next to it "place inline" Click on that and you're done.

Re: Posting Pictures

Uploading videos can be done easily two ways. First is done with Photobucket just like you can with pictures. The better way though it to use Youtube.

First you'll need to open a free account at http://www.youtube.com/ Its pretty easy.

Sign into your Youtube account and go to the yellow "upload" button in the upper right corner. Click on "video file" from the drop down and just follow the directions given. Pretty easy stuff.

Get that all done and click on "Account" and your video should be there. Start playing the video.

Copy the url at the top of the page. Don't use the "URL" box on the right. Paste that into your thread.

example:

http;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbEBQ58I-J4&feature=channel_page

then highlight the link you just pasted and hit the "Youtube" button. It will look something like this.

[ youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbEBQ58I-J4&feature=channel_page[/ Youtube]

The finished product will look like this when posted.
