I know it's a minor thing but I was wondering if the bolt that holds it to the firewall was originally painted purple or not? Firewall??? I meant radiator support!!!

No. Again I'm away from home but I'm pretty sure it is black phosphate, maybe gold cad but I'm leaning toward black. I'll be home Wed.

the bolt is a SEMS 5/16-18X.88" hex head with a paint cutter washer grade 5 Phosphate( brownish/green). Get your chemical set out  I would think you could get away with black because its real dark!

O.K. thanks Bob. You're the man. It has the paint cutter washer and it is real dark.

(PM to Acme A12) I couldn't get all the tumble weed out of the suspension. Hopefully it will fall out on it's own before he sees it. (PM complete)
