quarter extension have questions.

Well trying to get it rite. Installing the quarter extensions. B body book says no gasket. It only got smeared with seam sealer. Bolted it up put the light in and bezel. little gap around tail light coming through the bezel. Some gaps around the extension most gap on inner side towards trunk. Be fore I start putting in filler thought I would ask. Any one done this before. Help. Russ.

I didn’t use the gaskets and I don’t have a gap between them cause when you put them on and tighten them up and get everything straight shoot it with primer and paint and it will not have a gap

Thanks Brett. The in side towards the trunk is a gap. Tight a bottom but opens up at the top. Not much but enough. Guess seam sealer will take care of that. Think I will build it up with the all metal. Would like it tight so no water will get into the bucket area. Some gap around the light bezel also thinking to use urethane widow calk around them. It never ends dose it. LOL. Hoping to paint by this October when it get's cooler. Thank you again all help appreciated. Russ.
