This is not on my Runner but on one of my Abodys shouldn't make a difference.

What can I do or what have you done when the clips will not stay in the door panel cardboard backing?

The clip slots are tore.

I don't want to buy new panels as these are in excellent shape.

Let me know.

I have taken good panel covers off, and reglued them on good backers. On ocasion, we get steel coils from Germany where I work. They are wrapped in similar material that door panels use. I never know when we get these, but if you're in no hurry, next time we get some in I can get some of that for you, and you could make new backers for your panels.

Dave,

I'm in no hurry and can wait .

I just can't believe that these panels only been taken off the doors 2 times and I use the tool and they are ripped/tore where the clips go in.

Let me know and I'm always someplace in Ohio picking up Bow-Ties.:)

I was going to try magnets or velcro on my 53 Chrysler. I've heard of both being used with good results. I went with the clips.

So.... When did Basketcase start working in Germany???
