Rebuilt 727 transmission source

A&A Transmissions out of Indy.
They offer a variety of different stages and configurations (Street, Race, Full Manual, etc.)

They're homepage is outdated, they're very busy. They are top tier but have a backlog.
Just call them and tell them what you need.
Hope this helps.

Tom
Thanks, Tom. I had heard of them from another site too. Seem well respected. Talked to Rick there and you are correct - backlog is 4 mo's plus. But they will build whatever you want. Will probably use them if we need replacement.

You're welcome. I rebuilt the one in my 70 Charger w/ a Stage 1 shift kit myself. Not hard, all straight forward as long as you have the '727 Bible'. Torqueflite Patty from Washington state provided me with some subtle knowledge on some crucial the valve body mods. I did that during the winter so I took all the time I needed to get it right

Depends where you live. There are a couple San Diego and one in Temecula that work on vintage cars, especially 727’s
