Rockford Files was one of my favorite TV shows of all time. The "Rockford Turn" is the reason I wanted to get into cars. Rest in Peace Mr. Garner.

Seems like the icons of our youth are vanishing fast, my family were big Rockford fans. My brother and I always busted on my old man,he had a 76 Firebird,Rockford had a 76 that season, it got blown up as the model year switched and Rockford started driving a 77 with the square quads. Shortly after that episode my dad was involved in a multi car in a snow storm, totaling the 76. So he bought a new 77 at Burton and Loomis our local Pontiac dealer. We told him," Sure Rockford got a 77 so you had to get one too !"
