Since Road Runners were a low option/stripper low cost model. How rare is A/C as an option? I don't see many with any major options unless upgraded to a GTX.

Just a guess with the number of them I've seen a 1/4 to a 1/3rd at best. A friend has a convertible 383 4spd with a/c 8 track, pretty rare bird.

My 70 also has A/C which is why I asked, but not much of anything else for options. Manual steering, Manual 4 wheel drum brakes, bench seat, column automatic.

Had a 69 in the mid 70’s acquired while serving in the army in Hawaii and brought back to PA in 76. Car was F8 green 4 speed, buckets with console, AC, power windows, turquoise 383 (came with AC cars), 3:55 performance axle package and light package. When I was working underneath found out the stock 4 speed hurst was a competition plus model. Figure it was a rare bird with those options. RM23H car. Couldn’t give them away in 77. Wish I would have kept to restore but who knew back then that muscle cars would live on after the gas shortage and smog era models!!!
