I was in the garage yesterday, and I came across something I thought I had scrapped a while ago.

for the new guys that might not know,I dragged this gem home a few years ago

after 5 years of scrounging the Mopar Nats, MCG's classifieds,e bay, and horse trading with friends, even some stuff from the 'parts, mainly a killer deal for some tires and Cragars, it looked like this. not too far from getting a fresh coat of T7

about 3am one night in 2007, we were awoken by a neighbor beating on the side of our house...."You're garage is on FIRE!"

in that fire was my road runner, 440 4 speed, 3.55sg, and beside that my Uncle's '69 300 convertible. the driveshaft came off my road runner.

Dave! That is still unbelievable to see. I can't imangine the heat needed to make that happen! Thanks for posting.

Dave, what caused the fire to start?

the Fire Chief didn't see anything that looked hinkey, so they didn't look into it. all was fine when I put the car away earlier. There were a couple other garage fires in the area that year.
