My good friend who is helping me with this project is working on several cars at the same time, Yes it is a 1958 T-Bird, he said he put a 1969 Shelby "428" , along with a C6 automatic trans with a shift kit. It breaks the tires loose going into passing gear. He just finished rebuilding the original "409" engine and the four speed and posi rear end, and he just installed it and put the finishing touches on it. It is a matching number car with 82,000 original miles, original interior and glass. is also working on 1965 Falcon Ranchero 1956 Chevrolet and a 1931 Model...lucky to have found him.
