Yep, someone saw the J and added a Hemi sometime in its life.

That roadrunner was sure nice though. I looked at it during the auction.

There were many calling this a fake/made up vin tag but the factory mistake in typing is a much more plausible explanation. The only thing I disagree with is that there are plenty of guys who would have known there were no Hemi cars built at LA even if they had installed the reinforcements.
