Decided to put together my 70' R.R. as a Rat Muscle project. Haven't decided if I am going to call it the Rum Runner or the Roached Runner yet. Engine and trans will be going in soon.

Tape it off. Sand it prime it then paint it. It will look more like the rum runner. Most of the body look's straight from the side I see. Well fix it up and drive it.

Nope, driving it as is. Already had stupid offers from some of the locals that want it once running, but I am not in it for the money.

Just thought it would look better with maybe a single stage paint job. But that was my two cent's. Build it and drive it and have fun.

Engine looks way better than the car. Mild 383 with 484 purple shaft. 2800 converter, 4:88 gears with a spool, 175 shot of NOS, widen steelies with 275 drag radials. Should be a nice sleeper.

you know in the day when i ran Woodward the Chevy boys called runner's were called roch runner so i like rum runner

I raced up and down Woodward in the 1960's and ended at Ted's in Pontiac for a 5 by 5. Uncle Sam ended that in 1965. I learned how to power shift and how to time the lights just right which helped when I got back into racing in the 70's. Absolutely no more street racing though. I had 15 points when I went into the Navy in 1965. At 12 points you lost your license.
