Does anyone find any good Mopar Parts cars near your home anymore? Also, are some of these cars too rare to part out?

I have been looking around for good parts since I bought my 69 Road Runner and other than a couple 4 door cars I don't see much out here anymore. I did find a rusty GTX recently on ebay that was not to far from me. Then last night I found a Sport Satellite a couple towns away. This is the first time I have been lucky enough to find anything locally these days.

Seems everything ends up on ebay or gets hauled off for scrap anymore!

I may buy the Satellite and part it for my GTX but the Satellite is in better condition, and more original. I guess we will see how the deal goes! :acme:

I haven't found a parts car to drag home since the eary '90s. I think they're still out there, just the easy to spot cars have been gatherd up, at least around here.

I have found a few, they wanted too much for them off of Craigslist and then they threw them up on ebay where I recognized the car and bought it for ten times less. I say a Satellite is still a worthy candidate to part out for a GTX unless that Satellite is a factory big block car or something.

To be honest I sometimes wonder what is a parts car these days. Everything is restorable these days, and most of the cars listed on the internet as a parts car is normally missing all of their parts! lol :leg:

Last parts car I had was a 68 Satellite conv in early 90s,I didn't have a place to store it so I stripped off some parts, and I had a friend who worked at a local Dodge dealer who said I could put it out back after okaying it with the owner.Unfortunately the owners son had a 64 Fury and a bunch of "Mopar" buddies who he let strip what was left of the car.( would have been nice if I was asked) I went up one day to get a part and there basically was nothing but a shell left.I think it went to the crusher. So moral of the story any parts car store on your own property were you can keep an eye on it.
