What color should the air grabber screens be on a any roadrunner with a 440. No it's not an a12. My thought was black for 383 orange for 440 red for hemi. Please correct me if I'm wrong. :drive:

Since they never offered a 440 in a 69 Roadrunner except the A12, the screens can be whatever color you want. There is no "correct".

And the block-off plates used on non-N96 cars were satin black.

What if you had the V21 hood paint but not N96? Satin Black or V21 paint???
I asked this question here before and was told they're still satin black. I am painting my car black and thought maybe they would be something other than satin black, but apparently not, so I painted them red any way.

Still satin... when I bought my WW1 car, the perf hood paint was added & the block-offs were painted red. It looked good...a nice contrast against the black hood paint. Not sure why Ma MOPAR didn't do it from the factory that way. Even without the perf hood paint, the block-offs would look better red IMO.
