Seal-All Contact Adhesive

Seal-All Contact Adhesive ,Can it be used as a Thread sealer for Temp. Sending unit or the Oil sending unit or can any one recommend a good Automotive Thread Sealer

Why not good ole Teflon tape? That's what I used on both the water temp and oil pressure threads.

ARP thread sealant or permatex gray. I don't use teflon tape after finding some in an oil filter I cut open.

Well, I suppose even thread sealant can get into the system if applied sloppy.

I've used this stuff for many years and have been very happy with it.
