Single plane intake.

Is anyone running a single plane intake manifold on a 383. I am with a 650 Holley carburetor. If so do you have any issues with the car performance. It is a Holly intake manifold. It came with the car and used Holly intakes back in the day. If I switch to a dual plane manifold will that give me any advantage to the preformance of the car?
