Quick question....What should the volt meter read at idle or under power? Mine's reading 14 volts. The amp meter is reading "Charging." For some reason I was thinking the volt meter should be higher....

OK....car finally started with the Rev box....

OK. it wouldn't start initially. I changed out the box, coil, and resistor. Car finally started.

Well, I changed it out to the new one that came with the new Blaster 2 coil.

Finally started. Maybe just a fluke..??

That's good to hear. Do you know of any tuning issues or the like? I disconnected the vacuum advance as recommended.

when I was doing the engine swap on the truck, I swore up and down I was done tinkering with this old stuff. Then I see what the news stuff costs...... :eek:

I know the whole can't find a spindle thing has soured me lately on the older cars !
