Tach

OK guys here one for you
Since I change over to an electronic ignition. My tach dose crazy things: jumps up to 7 grand back to 3 then to 5 you get the ideal.
What do I need to do to fix this, any ideals?
Shielded wire? Some kind of resistor?
I’m open for suggestions

id be calling up summit....did you follow the directions for hooking up the tach......mine on the msd hooks up to the box....or a bad ground wire or recheck wires for chaffing and shorting out
