Took a day trip to the Talladega Museum today. Another $10 museum that should not be missed if your in the area. Here are a a few pictures.

The two Olds convertibles were in the parking lot, just out for a drive.

and more. The world fastest go-kart 152 mph and your butt is 3" off the ground. The Novi was my favorite Indy car when I was growing up. The engine has no removable head, cylinder chambers are machined into the block. Magnam by Petty.

At the Talladega Motor Speedway in Alabama. Its about 100 miles west of Atlanta, 40 East of Birmingham. Museum and tour of track is like $12. I didn't take the tour this time.

Petty Magnum interior. Note the pistol grip!!

Come on Ray, Museums are not always attached to their namesake. Besides you didn't swing  That and I haven't watched A stock car race since they were, well stock cars. I figured it was in FL somewhere :D

Apparently it has been even longer since you watched a baseball game or else you'd know that the pitcher doesn't get to call his own strikes...

Okay, let's get this thread back on track... Carl, Bob would also like to know where the Indianapolis 500 museum is located. Do you happen to know where that is too?

I wasn't going to touch this one. I figured it was a grenade and as soon as I strike it would blow up in my face. :redx:
