First off I’m rather bias and this may bring on a S$&T storm of opinions, but here goes. I have a 70 RR and couldn’t be happier after 45 years away. I strongly considered a 69 RR when the search began for the “real” deal” mopar, but my heart told me to search out the 70...reason:first muscle car in 75@19rs old. Hence the loyalty!
The 68-69’s seem quite available and I love them all!, but it just seems their aren’t many real nice 70’s around...could just be me! I know Plymouth ran this body only one year and then made a big change...Petty as it was but good. Love this car❤️ Anybody else?

Each of the 13 years they were made have their own unique features. I like them all but, like you, I am partial to my first Road Runner and that was a 69.

All 70 for me. My Dad had a 70 when I was a kid, and that’s all I’ve wanted since then. Finally got my own a couple years ago, and it came through the same dealership as my Dads car. Cant ask for more than that!

The work and search for that runner dear to your hart makes it that special runner to you. The last of the muscle car era of those times was a sad time in history. So many have worked hard to get and pay forward to make these car's grate again. We all are special people in our own right. Finding that special runner in a barn - a back yard or out in the wood's. Then drag it home and your wife say's where did you find that piece of junk. Then the cutting-grinding-welding and the spending of dollar after dollar into what we can see will be a car again. So my hat's off to all those runner fan's out their keeping this car alive after 50 years of being around. So work on them/paint them and above all drive them and show off this grate car. :beep:

A '69 was my first car back in '72 and that was all that I looked for when I was finally able to get another one back in '05.

The why of me owning a 69 is when I saw it then I was bitten by the runner bug. I always just wanted one. LOL. Just like the 69 charger it has a special place on the street also.

I cant find fault in any of them my first was a 69, I've had a 70 440 4speed and a 74 318 , I just favor the square bodies of the 68 69 , I went to the 68 mostly cause the side marker lights actually work, but I like them all

I love the 70 Roadrunners but when Plymouth changed the styling in 71, they were just so far ahead of their time, along with the Cuda, I think of the 71 Roadrunner as an oversized Cuda, just my opinion!

Yes sir I had the shortened version a 73 Cuda so to speak! But after 65 orbits around the Sun I have my dream car back and I feel beyond fortunate
