I emailed this seller about his 69 Road Runner because his auction states "Stamping on radiator support does match the last several digits of the title" I asked if the title matched the VIN plate on the dash. He replied "the VIN on the dash matches the radiator support" So I said well does the title match the dash or the radiator support and he said "it is a real road runner" lol So I just told him if the dash, trunk, radiator support, and title do not match one another then something is wrong with one of them.

Anyway, I would not buy a car where at least the dash and title match. What are your thoughts about this kind of mess?

This car has been on the market for quite a while. I would say their is something wrong, or it is just over priced for it's condition.

He emailed now saying they all match, but still i see this a lot on the internet. I have also seen this locally on cars.

How do they suddenly all match? Why would he have even mentioned this previously if something wasn't amiss?

I steer far, far, far away from crap like this unless it is cheap, cheap, cheap... :cents:

:leave:

What did he use to replace that trunk floor???
I'd say it's worth 4K-5K, and I would assume I'm buying a modified Satellite.

Uh oh, he used the ole "to the best of my knowledge" line about it being a RR.

That car has been around awhile. To the best of my knowledge, it can be had for 11,500 according to his ad over on Moparts.

It's kind of a mess all the way around. Even if it were a Sat, I could see it being an 8K or so car to a guy that can live with home patch panels and a local shop made recovering on the seats.

If you felt it was a real RR, it might add a LITTLE to the value, but all in all, it has issues that hold it way back as it sits. Could be a fun little driver for somebody.

The only way I would touch it is with a in person inspection and the numbers must match without a doubt. :cents: Otherwise its junk. Vin swaps are a federal crime.

l could ive w/ the trunk but l'd go over the #s VERY carefully. and l noticed he has a lot of pics that don't really show much.....l'd say no more than $9000
