Tire rubbing!

Thought I’d put this in the steering & suspension section. I have BFG (silvertown) 235-70-15 radials on the 70 Roadrunner and upon turning the wheel on a slow left hander the tire rubs on the front edge of the right fender, but not on the drivers side turning to the right. I have some ideas as to why,but thought I’d check with some experts here. I will be going with a 245-60-15 soon that total tire diameter will be smaller so maybe all will work out. Old cars,old problems!
