Ok, another I'm sniffing around. Here's the info:

Rims - Weld Racing Draglite
Tires - 205/70R15 Douglas Xtra-Trac II Tire
Wheel Size – 15x3.5
Dual Bolt Pattern – 5 x 4.75 or 5 x 4.5
Backspace – 1.25” (depending on which website you look at, Weld’s website says they are 1.25” and Summit and Jeg’s have them at 1.375”)

I'm thinking the 15x3.5 thing isn't gonna work unless his figures are wrong.
Same old game, chime in if you'd like and I'm gonna research the 3.5 issue.
Maybe two would be good for the front with big rubber and wheels in the
back but not much more...

that sounds like it is race specific. does not sound like a good choice for cruising. what are your goals for choosing a wheel? do you have a look your are going for?

Yes Mac,
I like the look of weld draglites on a red car, no RWL.

However...I've had Cragars on my car since I bought it and they
are growing on me a little.

Bottom line, I'm going to Carlisle and I'm going to take a good look
around. If I see a pair of 15" cragars I'll probably jump on them.
I'll keep the 14's on the front as the ones I have are pretty sharp
for their age.

I'll have to find a full set of the draglites that are a complete steal
in order to make the shift I think.

See you saturday at 4.

I had Cragars on my other car, and they just really had the look I was after, hope to score another set sometime.

As luck would have it, saw and orange 69 rr today pulling out of a parking lot that had cragars. I liked it.

Those 15x3.5 will fit. I had them on my 68 Runner and had no issues. I did put another set on my Chevelle which is way front heavy and cracked one when the 7/16 lugs came loose. Other than that I have run 3.5s on my street cars with no problems.

Many wheels like those say for "drag use only"

I did use some Draglites on the street once upon another lifetime
