Does the "jute" insulation (that is glued onto the trunk divider) go on the trunk side or inside the car facing the back seat. Do you see it when you open the trunk or not? Probably a dumb question, but want to "get it right". Thanks Any pics?

There was no jute insulation on the divider.

If you want to use it, I would face it into the seat so no one can see it.

Its probably put on this one by the manufacturer for extra sound deadening. Since it is hidden by the back seat no one will ever know its there and it will insulate the passenger compartment from the sounds that rattle around in the trunk. Sorta like putting the Dyna-Mat under the carpet. I just left mine with the standard jute backing on the carpet and my trunk divider is plain-jane without insulation. Sounds mighty good like that to me :drive:
